Great Beef Recipes

Doug's Great Steak Marinade

Amount Ingredient Notes
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
1/4 Cup Balsamic Vinegar You can substitute apple cider vinegar if you like
2 TableSpoons Garlic Pepper
1 TableSpoons Garlic Powder Granulated

Description

In a small flat bottom bowl (we use a baking dish), add the soy sauce and vinegar. Ideally, the marinade liquid will cover the bottom 1/8 inch or so of the steak(s).

Drop the steak(s) into the bowl and flip to coat both sides. Then sprinkle on half of the Garlic Pepper and granulated Garlic Powder on one side and then flip and sprinkle the other side.

Cover the steaks (we use a paper towel) and let stand on the kitchen counter. Depending upon the thickness of the steak(s), we usually allow about 40 minutes, turn them and then another 40 minutes on the remaining side.

Enjoy!
